Adding Drug Allergies

Vision Anywhere supports the recording of both drug and non-drug allergies.

To add an allergy:

1. Open an Encounter.
2. Enter 'a' in the dynamic data entry bar and select Drug allergy:

   

3. The add Drug Allergy form displays, select Description and search for the clinical term for the reaction.
4. In Drug allergy, enter the name of the drug that triggered the allergy. A smart list displays as you type:

   

   Training Tip - You can swipe up to display more entries.
5. Select the drug required and then select the triangle to access the list and record:
   • Certainty
   • Severity
6. Enter any comments in Notes:

   

7. Select Save to finish.
